The Hutton Group, a Pittsburgh-based boutique company that offers meeting and event planning services, has launched a new spinout division.
The company, which is women-owned and operated, is known for its services in hotel selection for events and meetings, as well as meeting management for both in-person and virtual corporate events.
The spinout division, known as the Destination Management Co., is focused on specialty events, with services including travel and ground services, tours and outings, venue procurement and more. It will also provide services for event attendees, such as team building events and interactive experiences.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the Pittsburgh region offering everything from program design, logistics management, supplier sourcing, on-site coordination and administrative services to every client,” Jaime Budesa, vice president of services at the Hutton Group, said in a release. “Most importantly, we want to inspire new life experiences for visitors by connecting them to the local community. Our focus is to expose individuals to a culture and immerse them in opportunity, all while bringing economic benefit to the people that make the city a great place to live and thrive. It is about creating memories and ensuring local businesses in that city are involved and supported in this venture.”
