Beth Wickramasuriya

Being around passionate, driven people pushes me to keep learning, stay curious, and give my best to every event.

Beth brings over 20 years of experience in destination design, meeting planning, site selection, and hotel contracting. As Director of Destination Sales & Meetings, she leads destination management services—partnering with local communities to create standout attendee experiences and supporting clients through every stage of planning.

Her career includes work as an independent meeting planner and with HelmsBriscoe, where she specialized in strategic site selection and contract negotiations. She earned her bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from the University of Central Florida and became a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) in 2011.

Beth is an active member of the MPI Pittsburgh Chapter and stays closely connected to the evolving meetings and events industry. She splits her time between Pittsburgh and Viera, Florida, with her husband, a commercial airline pilot, and their two golden doodles. A proud mom of three grown children, she enjoys reading, traveling, fine wine, and exploring new cultures through food.
